MacIntosh Books and Paper will be taking part in the statewide Re-book to Re-build hurricane relief program by donating 10 percent of its sales from Nov. 3-4 to fund grants that will enable schools impacted by Hurricane Michael to re-stock libraries and classrooms.

“We’re proud to partner with the Florida Department of Education and Florida Education Foundation’s Hurricane Relief Fund to help re-supply and rebuild school libraries impacted by Michael,” said Rebecca Binkowski, owner of MacIntosh. “As Floridians, we know the challenges faced by our neighbors and are eager to help bring the power and joy of reading back to Big Bend and Panhandle students.”

MacIntosh, 2330 Palm Ridge Rd., has been serving the islands since 1960 and offers a well-curated selection of books for all ages, puzzles and games, fine stationery and greeting cards, and unique gifts.
