Vince and Suzie Nowell, along with their children Spencer and Reagan, believe in the values of F.I.S.H. of SANCAP. This year the family is supporting the organization as a Gold Sponsor of the 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H. The race, in its 10th year, attracts hundreds of runners of all ages from near and far to Sanibel Island. It is a day dedicated to running and F.I.S.H.

Reagan and Spencer, who are now in college, have volunteered at the F.I.S.H. Walk-In Center. “We liked being involved in our hometown community and helping anyone who may be struggling,”said Reagan. Spencer agrees, and said, “I enjoyed helping people on the island.” Originally from Virginia, the family have been full-time Sanibel residents for the last four years.

During their honeymoon visit to Sanibel, Suzie and Vince fell in love with a house that they couldn't resist. The blue door welcomed them to their new home. Today, the couple enjoys a peaceful island lifestyle and activities such as biking, fishing and boating. “We love doing our part to keep the island beautiful,” said Vince. “To live and work on the island is a true pleasure.”

The Nowell family has supported F.I.S.H. in many ways and we are grateful for their support of the 10K Race,” said 10K Committee Member Ed Ridlehoover.
