The Law Office of Janet Strickland, P.A. returns a third year as Silver Sponsor of the 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H. Strickland has been active in the Sanibel community since moving to the island eight years ago. She is pleased to support F.I.S.H. of SANCAP through the popular foot race that attracts hundreds of runners from near and far.

Sanibel has some of the best organizations, making it a terrific place to live and work,” said Strickland, who serves on the Board of BIG ARTS and is a member of 'Ding' Darling Wildlife Society, Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife and Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation.

Strickland first opened her own law office in 2003 in Port Orange, Fla., where she practiced as a solo attorney for seven years. Her areas of practice include wills, trusts and estate planning; probate of estates; preparation of real estate documents; and transactional business matters. She's a member of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and Estate Planning Council of Lee County.

We are delighted to have Janet return as a race sponsor,” said Ed Ridlehoover, race committee co-chair. “She continues to be a vital part of our community and her dedication should not be overlooked.”

The 10K Race, in its 10th year, is set for Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Sanibel Community House.
