St. Isabel’s Women’s Guild held its first meeting of the year Thursday, Oct. 25 at St. Isabel Parish. Following a brief meeting, newly-elected Guild President Annette Hendrick introduced their guest speaker Angel C. Duncan, M.A., FMT, ATR, from the Neuropsychiatric Research Center.

Duncan's presentation, entitled "Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease: Facts, Figures and Future Outlook," covered topics including management of dementia, and barriers to helping patients live well with Alzheimer’s Disease. The program was followed by a question and answer period with the audience.

Nonperishable food items were generously donated by the Woman’s Guild for distribution to Catholic Charities in Ft. Myers, Fla. Membership is open to all ladies of the parish. Those interested in joining should contact the membership chair, Dottie McGovern.
