The Rotary Club of Sanibel-Captiva, which attracts over 10,000 attendees each year, is preparing for the 33rd Annual Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 13-14, at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way.

The Rotary Arts & Crafts Fair is the premier arts and crafts fair in all of Southwest Florida. The event is a celebration of community, unique arts and crafts from around the country, entertainment, food, and displays of community and charity projects supported by the Rotary Club. The public is invited to attend free of charge with a suggested $5 donation at the entrance.

The fair runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday the 13th and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday the 14th.

With over 300 artists applying from all across the nation, the selection committee was challenged in choosing the very best for the event. Over 100 participating artists will offer unique gifts, wearable art, sculptures, paintings, photography, wood working, painted furniture, jewelry and more.

Many local businesses have donated outstanding items for the silent auction including memorabilia, weeklong beachfront stays along with spectacular pieces donated by other artists.

Proceeds from the Sanibel Arts & Crafts Fair are used to meet community needs, fund local scholarships, and for human service needs worldwide. For more information on the arts & crafts fair, please call 239-312-3181 or www.sanibelartfair.com or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/SanibelCaptivaRotary.
