Sanibel Sea School and The Ocean Tribe Paddlers are pleased to welcome Kealy McNeal to the organization’s team of marine science educators. Her title at Sanibel Sea School will be Outdoor Education Coordinator, and she will also lead The Ocean Tribe Paddling Club.

McNeal grew up in Iowa and spent her childhood vacationing in Florida, where she fell in love with the ocean. She eventually attended the University of Tampa to study environmental and marine science. After earning her degree, she worked for The Audubon Society, monitoring and protecting nesting shorebirds on beaches in Florida and Massachusetts and educating beachgoers about them. An avid paddler, she considers environmental education to be one of her biggest passions in life.

"Southwest Florida has so many great places to explore, and I can't wait to plan some exciting and educational paddling adventures for students and club members," she said.

Sanibel Sea School is a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to improve the ocean’s future, one person at a time. To learn more, visit www.sanibelseaschool.org.
