Sanibel Sea School will host a fly tying workshop from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 for all skill levels. Equipment and supplies will be provided, and local experts will be available to provide instruction and tips.

"Whether it’s the camaraderie, inventiveness, skill, or simply a way to catch more fish, people seem to love fly tying," said the organization's executive director, Dr. Bruce Neill. "We hope fishermen and creative types alike will join us for this fun evening."

This event will be held at Sanibel Sea School's Flagship Campus, 455 Periwinkle Way. No advance registration required, cost is $20 at the door. Sanibel Sea School is a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to improve the ocean's future, one person at a time.
