Sanibel Sea School will offer a new, four-week season of After School Science centered on renewable energy starting Tuesday, March 5. Participants ages 6-13 will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. to discover through hands-on activities how clean energy can be harvested from the sun, wind, water and earth.

“We’re going to do things like build solar powered cars and harvest energy from waves,” said educator Johnny Rader. “There are so many fun ways to explore alternative energy, and I can’t wait to set up some great activities for my students to enjoy and learn from,” he added.

Sessions will be offered on Tuesdays, March 5, 12, 26 and April 2. Cost is $20 per student per session. Learn more and register at www.sanibelseaschool.org/afterschool. Sanibel Sea School is a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to improve the ocean’s future, one person at a time.
