The Jon Stickley Trio is performing at a benefit for SCCF Sunday, Jan. 13, hosted by Point Ybel Brewing in Fort Myers.
Point Ybel Brewing will host a celebration to benefit the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13 at Point Ybel, 16120 San Carlos Blvd, No. 4, Fort Myers.

The event is in support of the SCCF Marin Laboratory's water quality efforts by a donation of $2 from every pint of Point Ybel’s new Sanibelian Local Lager sold. The suggested $10 donation at the door comes with a pint of the lager.

SCCF staff will be on hand to answer questions and discuss ongoing water quality issues affecting all in Southwest Florida. The genre-defying Jon Stickley Trio will be performing. The group combines flatpicking guitar with sultry violin melodies and classical, jazz influenced drumming to create textural soundscapes.

SCCF is dedicated to the conservation of coastal habitats and aquatic resources on Sanibel and Captiva and in the surrounding watershed through environmental education, land acquisition & stewardship, Native Landscapes & Garden Center, Marine Laboratory, natural resource policy, sea turtle and shorebird conservation, and wildlife & habitat management. Community support through membership dues and tax-deductible contributions, in addition to grants and staff-generated revenue, makes this work possible.
