Anyone who would like to identify a shell can bring it to the Sanibel Shell Festival in the morning on Thursday and Friday, March 7-8 at the Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way. Scientific Director and Curator at The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum Dr. Jose Leal will help with shell identification and answer questions on shells and mollusks or the animals that create the shells.
