Sanibel Police responded to three minor vehicle crashes last week.

Cynthia Briand, 68, Fort Myers, was traveling west in the 1500 block of Periwinkle Way at 1:07 p.m. Friday, May 10, when she slowed for traffic and the back of her vehicle was struck by a vehicle operated by Jose Herrera, 27, Cape Coral. No injuries were reported.

Keith Niggemyer, 47, Wexford, Pa., was attempting to turn east onto Periwinkle Way from Palm Ridge Road at 11:53 p.m. Monday, May 13, when the back of his vehicle was struck by a vehicle operated by Jerrilynn McLeod, 35, Cape Coral. McLeod told police she thought Niggemyer’s vehicle had turned, when she pulled forward. No injuries were reported.

Anna Marie Greenfield, 38, Fort Myers, was attempting to make a right turn from Rabbit Road onto Sanibel Captiva Road at 7:07 p.m. Monday, May 13, when she stopped suddenly for eastbound traffic and the back of her vehicle was struck by a vehicle operated by Paul Zimmerman, 62, Sanibel, who was also attempting to make a right turn. No injuries were reported.
