Runners will line up for a 10K or 5K road race, and children will lace up their shoes for a “fun run” designed for them. The event will continue on the beach with an evening concert and fireworks finale. The beach-side concert will feature the energetic band Funk You, known for their lively cover songs and top hits that will have everyone dancing in the sand. The concert begins at 5:30 p.m. at ‘Tween Waters Resort on Captiva. Transportation to the concert is included in the ticket price.
This year’s JOG N JAM is being held in cooperation with the Lee County Tourist Development Council and is part of the City of Sanibel’s 50th anniversary extended celebration. It ultimately supports FISH’s vital programs and services.
