The public is invited to the ceremony that will take place at the flagpole in front of the Sanibel City Hall\, located at 800 Dunlop Road\, starting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday\, November 11th\, 2021. \nThe BIG ARTS Concert Band\, led by August Thoma\, will start playing patriotic music at 10:45 a.m.\, followed by the Local Scout Troop/Pack 1740 and the Sanibel Police Honor Guard performing the flag ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Special guests include Reverend Dr. John H. Danner from the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ and Rotarian and Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel William Harkey. \nIn addition to the flag ceremony\, the Lee Coast MOAA will be giving special recognition to six Sanibel Veterans who have passed this last year.
