100+ Women Who Care Sanibel & Captiva Islands brought together women from across the islands for an engaging informational meeting focused on strengthening the community through collective philanthropy.
The giving circle, powered by the Charitable Foundation of the Islands (CFI), also announced Florida Trust Wealth Management as the 2026 Presenting Sponsor of the program.
Attendees celebrated the growing impact of the giving circle. They reflected on last year’s impressive achievement: raising $36,000 in just three hours, with an additional $15,000 in matching funds from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation — totaling more than $51,000 to support three local nonprofits.
Funds were directed to Community Housing and Resources (CHR), the Children’s Education Center of the Islands (CECI), and The Sanibel School Fund, helping strengthen essential services for island residents and families.
The meeting highlighted how the power of many can create lasting change, as members continue to support organizations making an impact right here on Sanibel and Captiva.
