provided to The Santiva Chronicle

America’s Boating Club of Sanibel – Captiva celebrated being “Back-on-the-Water” Nov. 14 by inviting its many island partners to join them on the “Lady Chadwick.”

In addition to offering an enjoyable late-afternoon/early-evening cruise, this celebration was an opportunity to recognize and thank the ongoing contributions of many individuals and entities in their work to restore our islands.

Joining the America’s Boating Club of Sanibel – Captiva that evening were a list (long list) of representatives ranging from Mayor Rich Johnson and Councilman Mike Miller, to the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce, Billy’s Bikes, FISH of SANCAO, Rotary, “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, the Sanibel Historical Museum & Village, Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation, Captiva Cruises, and Bank of the Islands.

As MC for the evening, Fay Carney remarked,” Thank you, everyone! We’re grateful for all you have done this long year!”
