Ashton Kirchner Group Partners With Great White Grill for Holiday Toy Drive

Realtors Sarah Ashton and Chris Kirchner partnered with The Great White Grill to host a holiday toy drive for FISH of Sanibel Captiva. Together they collected toys valued at $950 plus nearly $1,000 in cash for the non-profit organization’s program that provided gifts for parents who are struggling this holiday season.

“We wanted to help brighten the Christmas holiday for families in need and felt this year, even more than ever, has been difficult for kids whether that be a disruption in the their school routine or being unable to get together with their friends as they usually, do,” said Ashton. “Adding a toy under the Christmas tree seemed like a positive thing we could do.”

Typically they host a one-day event with a large outdoor party, but the health pandemic changed it to a 10-day toy drop-off. Ashton and Kirchner recently opened their new Ashton Kirchner Group of Keller Williams Realty office next to The Great White Grill, which made it a natural partnership. Those who made a toy or monetary donation were entered into a raffle for great gifts that included a $100 lottery ticket basket, a “Ding” Darling Toy Box, a gift certificate to Great White Grill and several coolers that were stocked and ready to go.

“The effort brought in some great toys for the kids and that is the wonderful part,” said Ashton.
