Principal, Mike Grgich first gained international recognition at the celebrated “Paris Tasting” of 1976. Since then, he has had a fierce commitment to making wines of the highest quality, and began producing what immediately became their signature wine: exquisite, richly complex Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignons that have won awards and delighted wine lovers across America and throughout the world.
Like Bailey’s, Grgich Hills Estate is family owned & operated. They are committed to natural wine growing and sustainability, and their five Napa Valley vineyards are certified organic.
“I like the fact they farm without artificial fertilizers and pesticides, relying on wild yeast fermentation,” said Calli Johnson of Bailey’s General Store. “They use passion and art to hand-craft balanced and elegant wines that are food friendly.”
Delicious food pairings will be prepared by Bailey’s own Chef Karl. Guests can contact Chef Karl directly at 239-472-1516 for allergy accommodations or when purchasing tickets online.
Those wishing to experience the Grgich legacy of more than 40 years of passionately crafted wines should purchase a seat before April 2 through the purchase page on Bailey’s website. Space is limited to the first 45 guests and cost is $149.99 per person.
