Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program. The lucky winner, Diane Horton, was spotted with a “We Love Our Islands” decal on her vehicle, winning her the right to select which local non-profit organization would receive a charitable contribution from Bank of the Islands. Horton chose to donate her winnings of $1,400 to F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva. That donation marks $88,800 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ We Love Our Islands program.
“Bank of the Islands is proud to be a longstanding F.I.S.H. supporter,” said Willy Ocasio, Bank of the Islands Vice President and Sanibel-Captiva Office Manager. “We help share the news of their good work by sponsoring their annual report, and are always appreciative when islanders drop off contributions for the F.I.S.H. food pantry at our bank lobby collection site. On a personal note, it’s my great honor to serve on the F.I.S.H. Board of Directors. Helping F.I.S.H. through our We Love Our Islands program is a great way to show how much we appreciate being your island bank!”
