For the first time, Bank of the Islands is proud to be the presenting sponsor for the Captiva Community Panel “Welcome Back” Sunset Cruise on Monday, Dec. 1. The event aboard the Lady Chadwick is an excellent opportunity to meet new neighbors, reunite with old friends, and celebrate all the things that make Captiva such a special community.

“The Welcome Back Sunset Cruise tradition was created by the late and dearly missed Paul McCarthy as a way to herald the start of the season and the return of snowbird neighbors and friends,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “As the only bank with an office welcoming customers on Captiva Island, it just feels like a perfect fit to get on board as this year’s presenting sponsor.”

The two-hour cruise departs at 4:15 p.m. from McCarthy’s Marina, 11401 Andy Rosse Lane. Donations of $125 (or more) will secure a spot aboard. To learn more about CCP and make cruise reservations, visit www.captivacommunitypanel.com.

Celebrating its 28th year as the oldest locally owned and managed community bank in Lee County, Bank of the Islands is proud to be the winner of more than 50 “Best of the Islands” awards. We’re especially honored to be voted Best Bank, Best Financial Services, and Best Mortgage Broker for 2025-2026. The Bank has retained a 5-Star Superior Rating from BauerFinancial for more than a decade.
