Bank of the Islands is proud to be a $1,500 sponsor of the gala and film premiere benefiting the Sanibel Historical Museum & Village on Feb. 20.
“The Historical Museum is doing such a service to our islands by presenting this new documentary,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “While tragic in their aftermath, the storm events we have overcome should be shared with those who lived through them as well as new island residents.”
The highlight of the gala evening will be the premiere of “Wreckage, Resilience, and Recovery: The History of Hurricanes on Sanibel”. The event will be held from 5-8pm at the Sanibel Community House. A wait list to attend can be entered on http://www.sanibelmuseum.org.
