Bank of the Islands recently donated to become a Gold Sponsor for the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Golf Outing.

“We don’t have enough opportunities to show our veterans, as well as young people working towards careers in military service, just how much our community appreciates their past and future sacrifices,” said Bank of the Islands CEO Geoff Roepstorff.

“The MOAA motto is ‘Never Stop Serving’, and it couldn’t be a more fitting summary for the good work they do here in Lee County and across our grateful nation,” concluded Roepstorff.

The 12th Annual MacKenzie-James Tribute Golf Outing will take place on April 2, 2025, at the Shell Point Golf Club in Fort Myers. The event proceeds will used to benefit local Veterans and the JROTC achievement and scholarship programs.
