Bank of the Islands proudly supports The International Osprey Foundation as a Gold Sponsor for its annual Wines for Wings fundraising event. The bank recently made a $650 donation to help fund TIOF’s mission to restore local osprey habitat and global osprey research.

This year’s Wines for Wings will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way. Tickets are $35 in advance and $50 at the door. Guests will enjoy select wines, light fare, and a silent auction.

“Osprey nesting platforms are such heartwarming landmarks for islanders and visitors alike,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Helping to fund TIOF’s post-hurricane restoration of these important nesting sites is an honor, and we hope others will join us in supporting their work.”

For more information about attending Wines for Wings, contact local TIOF President Kathryn Brintnall at tiof.kbrintnall@gmail.com.
