BIG ARTS Announces Return of Talking Points Series

BIG ARTS Talking Points Lecture Series returns this month with a compelling lineup of speakers exploring a wide range of timely topics. The series brings experts and audiences together for thought-provoking presentations and interactive Q&As.

All lectures begin at 4 p.m. in BIG ARTS Christensen Performance Hall. In-person and livestream tickets are available here.

2025 Talking Points Lineup

March 12 – Chip Walter & Keith McWalter: The Longevity Quest in Fact and Fiction With the anti-aging industry booming and scientific breakthroughs reshaping our understanding of longevity, journalist Chip Walter and novelist Keith McWalter explore both the facts and the fiction surrounding our quest for a longer life.

March 19 – Ray Arsenault: Life & Legacy of John Lewis Historian Ray Arsenault examines the life and impact of John Lewis, the civil rights leader and longtime congressman whose fight for justice continues to shape America today.

March 26 – Annabelle Tometich: The Mango Tree – A Story of Fruit, Florida, and Felony Annabelle Tometich shares the deeply personal and unexpected journey behind her latest book, drawing from her experiences as a journalist, food writer, and daughter of immigrants in Southwest Florida.

April 2 – Mickela Mallozzi: Inspirational Travel in Bare Feet Four-time Emmy® Award-winning travel host Mickela Mallozzi invites audiences on a journey of cultural discovery through the universal language of dance, as seen in her acclaimed PBS series, Bare Feet with Mickela Mallozzi.

April 9 – Jane Wooldridge: Art Basel & the Art Scene Award-winning journalist Jane Wooldridge takes a behind-the-scenes look at Art Basel’s influence on the global art world and Miami’s emergence as a major arts hub.
