The Sanibel and Captiva communities are celebrating a milestone: the opening of the new BIG ARTS facility, 900 Dunlop Rd. The $14 million project broke ground in April 2019 and the doors are opening to the public from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 with live music performed by Island Jazz, the BIG ARTS Concert Band and Community Chorus, as well as food provided by Rib City.
