Sanibel FlyFishers will hold their monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5 in the lower level of the Sanibel Public Library, 770 Dunlop Rd. The featured speaker is Captain Ed Tamson. Dr. Tamson is a certified fly casting instructor with the Fly Fishers International and a Licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captain.
He earned his doctorate degree from the University of California. Tamson is a strong supporter and advocate for protecting our natural resources including: the Gulf Coast, Restoring the Greater Everglades, Florida Fishery, Florida Hunting Habitat and Catch/Release Fly Fishing.
Pizza and soft drinks will be available for a donation. Doors open at 5:30. Visitors are welcome.

Sanibel FlyFishers is THE Fly Fishing club of Sanibel Island. We are a Charter Chapter of Fly Fishers International (FFI) and promote local fly fishing, education, and conservation activities. We sponsor an Annual scholarship at the FGCU Water School for studies in water quality in SWFL. Annual Membership is $20.
