There was a slight increase in the number of vehicles crossing the Sanibel Causeway in November, when compared to the same month last year. The total inbound vehicle count was 266,766, which was 5,367 more vehicles or 2.05 percent higher than in November 2018. The highest recorded traffic for November was in 2000, when 284,445 vehicles crossed the scenic bridge. The year-to-date traffic count of 3,053,832 is trending slightly above last year to date at 3.01 percent.
