The Children Education Center of the Islands Executive Director, Laura Miltner, and Bank of the Islands Vice President, David Lowden, unveil a bench on the school’s campus in honor of a significant gift from the bank.

“A great community is not complete without a strong commitment to early childhood education,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Fortunately, young families living or working on Sanibel and Captiva have CECI on our islands. We want that to be true for generations.”

“We know CECI has an excellent space for outdoor learning and instilling a love of our natural world in its preschoolers. We’re happy to help support that good work,” said Roepstorff.
