This Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, Old Captiva House at ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa invites guests to celebrate Mom with a memorable dining experience, complete with exclusive chef-curated specials.
In addition to the restaurant’s regular hours and full menu of coastal-inspired classics, Chef De Cuisine Jon Rhoads and his team will offer a selection of limited-time dishes created especially for the holiday.
“Mother’s Day is one of my favorite days to cook for,” said Rhoads. “It’s about showing love and gratitude through great food and warm hospitality. We’ve put together a few really special dishes that I think moms — and their families — are going to love. It’s a day to make memories, and we’re honored to be a part of that.”
Featured specials include a crab and lobster stuffed flounder with red beet risotto and citrus butter sauce for $48, and two three-ounce filet medallions with potato cakes, grilled asparagus and red wine sauce for $58.
Located within the historic ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa, Old Captiva House offers guests a welcoming, waterfront atmosphere.
Advance reservations are strongly encouraged, as Mother’s Day is one of the year’s most popular dining dates. To reserve a table, visit http://www.oldcaptivahouse.com or call 239-472-5161, ext. 421.
