provided to The Santiva Chronicle

Savannah Kelly

Savannah Kelly, Director of Community Engagement at CFI, will join the Association of Fundraising Professionals Collier–Lee Chapter Board of Directors starting January 1, 2026.

The AFP Collier–Lee Chapter represents fundraising professionals across Southwest Florida and is dedicated to advancing ethical fundraising practices, professional education, and leadership development within the nonprofit sector. Kelly joins a distinguished board of nonprofit leaders shaping the future of philanthropy in Lee and Collier counties.

Kelly serves alongside several fellow leaders from Lee County and the Sanibel–Captiva community, including Dolly Farrell, Executive Director of CFI; Annie Campbell of the Heights Foundation; and Grace Murphy of the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW).

“I am honored to join the AFP Collier–Lee Board and to serve alongside nonprofit professionals who are deeply committed to strengthening our region through philanthropy,” said Kelly. “This role allows for meaningful collaboration and shared learning, particularly as donor-advised funds and other philanthropic tools continue to play an increasingly important role in how donors engage with and support their communities.”

At CFI, Kelly leads community engagement efforts that strengthen nonprofit collaboration, expand volunteerism, and deepen donor relationships. Her work includes advancing donor-advised fund education and stewardship, coordinating leadership and volunteer programs, and fostering partnerships that help ensure philanthropic dollars are aligned with the island’s most pressing needs.

Kelly’s appointment reflects CFI’s continued commitment to professional excellence, ethical fundraising, and leadership within the philanthropic sector—locally and regionally.
