The opening of Flying Bridge at Sanibel Marina called for a SanCap Chamber ribbon-cutting.

Cape Cod-based Flying Bridge celebrated the grand opening of Flying Bridge Sanibel with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Jan. 17, in partnership with the SanCap Chamber. Located at Sanibel Marina, 634 N. Yachtsman Drive, the new operation brings boat sales, brokerage, rentals, boat club membership, and service capabilities to Southwest Florida.

Flying Bridge Sanibel serves as an official dealer for Yellowfin and Invincible center-console boats, two of the most respected names in offshore fishing and performance boating. The location also offers boat brokerage services, leveraging advanced marketing technology, and broad market exposure to maximize visibility for clients selling their vessels.

For boaters who want time on the water without the responsibilities of ownership, Flying Bridge Sanibel offers a rental fleet and boat club membership program providing access to a variety of vessels. A full-scale service department staffed by Yamaha and Mercury certified technicians handles everything from routine maintenance to engine repowers.

“Sanibel has always felt like home to me,” said Mark Bogosian, owner of Massachusetts-based Flying Bridge. “My family has had a place on Captiva for years, and I’ve watched this community demonstrate remarkable resilience. Opening here allows us to bring Flying Bridge’s approach to boating to a place I care deeply about.”

The Sanibel location is the first of several planned for Southwest Florida, with additional operations opening soon in Bonita Springs and Fort Myers.

“Services available from Flying Bridge are exactly what Sanibel needs to enhance its world-class reputation for year-round watersports,” said SanCap president and chief executive officer John Lai. “Our boating scene just shifted into high gear.”

“The timing feels right,” Bogosian said. “Sanibel is back, the causeway is fully restored, and boaters are returning to these waters. We’re proud to be part of the island’s next chapter.”
