The Captiva Chapel by the Sea is a seasonal and interdenominational Christian church which meets from November through April each winter season here. The main structure is a 120-year-old school house seating 80, plus the yard where typically over 100 people sit outside and can hear the surf.

The Chapel has been in continuous use as a church since 1948. The historic Captiva Chapel Cemetery shares the property and dates back to the 19th century. Check out our web site at www.captivachapel.com and follow us on Facebook at Captiva Chapel by the Sea with almost 3,000 other followers.
