The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) is excited to announce the 44th Annual Taste of the Islands, returning Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sanibel City Hall, 800 Dunlop Road. The beloved island tradition brings together the community’s favorite restaurants, live music, and education for a day of great food and fun—all to benefit CROW’s mission of saving native and migratory wildlife.
Taste of the Islands showcases the vibrant culinary scene of Sanibel and Captiva Islands, giving attendees the opportunity to sample signature dishes from local restaurants while supporting wildlife rehabilitation and conservation.
Participating restaurants include Scooters, Island Pizza, Cielo, BRGR Kitchen and Bar, The Timbers Restaurant and Fish Market, Blue Giraffe, Tutti Pazzi, Rosalita’s Cantina, Green Flash, Sanibel Deli, and Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille.
Guests will purchase CROW Bucks to exchange for delicious “tastes” from participating restaurants while voting for their favorites in the popular People’s Choice Awards.
The event will feature live music all afternoon by The Keepers of SW Florida, creating a lively island atmosphere. Attendees can also meet some of CROW’s Animal Ambassadors and learn more about the organization’s work rescuing and rehabilitating injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 10, and children 3 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the entry gate.
Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands is again serving as the presenting sponsor.
A highlight of this year’s event is the official Taste of the Islands T-shirt, featuring a beloved vintage throwback design by Islander Ikki Matsumoto that celebrates the fun and nostalgia of Taste’s early years on the islands. Limited quantities will be available for purchase at the event.
“Taste of the Islands is one of our favorite ways to bring the community together,” said Alison Charney Hussey, CROW’s Executive Director. “It celebrates the incredible restaurants that make our islands special while supporting CROW’s work caring for the wildlife that shares this beautiful place with us.”
Proceeds from Taste of the Islands ensure CROW’s continued success in providing the highest quality care and treatment for injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary medicine. Funds also support CROW’s public education programs and outreach initiatives that inspire stewardship of our natural world.
