DeSantis Needs Our Help to Improve the Water Quality

To the Editor:

Upon taking office, Governor DeSanis laid out a plan to improve the water quality. He recognizes the impact that failure to take action on these issues has on the quality of life, the economy, the environment, and the natural resources in Florida.

He cannot accomplish this on his own. He will need the legislature to enact necessary laws and provide funding for his ambitions program. It is incumbent on us to convince our legislators to enact Governor DeSantis’ programs. It is critical for all of us to make sure our representatives and senators know how concerned we are that they put the interests of the people of Florida first. Contact your elected representatives and senators to let them know that you want them to get behind the Governor and pass the appropriate legislation and funding for his programs. Call, write a letter, or send an email to all of your representative and senators to ask them to support the Governor’s programs on water quality. Please contact your elected legislators once a week while the legislature is in session. We cannot afford to pass up the opportunity that we have at this time to have a huge impact on our future.
