DDWS has set a goal to raise $80,000 toward refuge support, including the purchase of two much-needed refuge conservation vehicles—critical tools that will expand its educational outreach and impact across Southwest Florida.
“The refuge is more than a sanctuary—it’s a living laboratory for wildlife and nature,” said DDWS Executive Director Ann-Marie Wildman. “From restoring native habitats and advancing clean water initiatives to delivering science-based lessons in underserved schools, its work protects the interconnected systems that sustain biodiversity and inspire future generations.
“For a limited time only, $25 becomes $50 for wildlife research, perhaps. $100 can become $200 for mangrove restoration, or $500 might grow to a sum of $1,000 for youth education.”
