About Love Sanibel Back
Now in its second summer, Love Sanibel Back is a community-driven initiative by Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church and partners, designed to spotlight island businesses and foster neighborhood unity.
Support for the initiative is made possible by a $5,000 grant from The Charitable Foundation of the Islands (Hurricane Recovery Fund), in-kind social media support, and collaboration with the SanCap Chamber of Commerce and City of Sanibel. The Chamber now has a Love Sanibel Back button on their home page that links to the page where anyone, near or far, can support local businesses by shopping online. https://sanibel-captiva.org/
The 2025 summer campaign began Memorial Day week (May 25–31) and runs through August, concluding with a Love Sanibel Community Gathering on Sunday, November 2, from noon to 3 p.m. at The Community House on Sanibel. Mark your calendars for this incredible coming together of the entire island community with music, free food, door prizes, booths, and activities.
