A Sanibel fire engine backed into a vehicle on Thursday, May 7, in the Bowman’s Beach parking lot. Michael Martin was operating the fire engine when it struck the parked vehicle of Stacie Blank, of Estero, Fla. No citations were issued and no injuries were reported.
A Sanibel Police Officer received injuries in an accident on Sunday, May 3, on Sanibel Captiva Road. The officer was on an ATV when the crash occurred with a single vehicle. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office conducted the traffic investigation.
