FISH is clearing out its facility for upcoming repairs and can no longer accept donations of small furniture and household items. Since Noah’s Ark Thrift Shop has reopened, FISH is redirecting those types of donations to the thrift shop, 2304 Periwinkle Way.
“We’re absolutely thrilled that Noah’s Ark Thrift Shop is back,” said FISH Executive Director Maria Espinoza.
“FISH was happy to fill the gap by providing community members with furnishings while Noah’s Ark recovered from Hurricane Ian,” Espinoza continued. “Now that they are back and accepting donations, we encourage community members to bring their items to the Ark, located behind St. Michael and All Angels Church.”
Noah’s Ark does not offer a pick-up service, so all donations must be delivered to the thrift shop. Additionally, the thrift shop needs clothing, home decor, books, DVDs, puzzles and games, holiday decorations, and small appliances such as toasters, blenders, and food processors. All items should be in good condition.
The thrift shop is not accepting larger donations, such as light fixtures, sleeper sofas, building equipment, and large appliances. Donors with an oversized donation can call the FISH office at 239-472-4775.
The organization will continue its POD distribution in partnership with United Way Gifts-In-Kind as items become available. For more information on distribution dates, refer to FISH social media.
Residents with specific needs for larger items or rebuilding supplies can contact Merari Salinas at FISH by phone (239-472-4775) or email (merari@fishofsancap.org).

Please note that Noah’s Ark is NOT opening until October 1st.
We are currently accepting donations only.
Thanks.
