Florida Trust Wealth Management is taking a lead role in supporting the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation’s day-to-day efforts to protect and care for Southwest Florida’s coastal ecosystems as Presenting Sponsor of ‘The Cause’ on Saturday, Jan. 17.

As the sun sets at 5:30 p.m., The Cause will begin, featuring jazz and island-centric cuisine from around the globe, including the world-class islands of Sanibel and Captiva.

Founded in 1967 as a land trust to preserve the unique natural resources of the islands, SCCF carries out its mission through conservation, science, education, and advocacy.

“We are honored to have Florida Trust as the Presenting Sponsor for this very special evening,” said SCCF CEO James Evans. “We look forward to sharing it with others who are seeking a fun and essential way to support the work we do.”

SCCF invites nature-loving residents, businesses, and visitors to sponsor an evening of cocktails, a seated buffet dinner, musical entertainment, a video premiere, and a streamlined and cause-related auction — all under the stars and a big tent at the Bailey Homestead Preserve.

“SCCF does important work for wildlife, the environment, and our islands,” said Al Hanser, Founder and Chairman, Florida Trust Wealth Management. “We are honored to serve as this year’s premier sponsor, and we encourage everyone who loves Sanibel-Captiva to come out and participate.”

Florida Trust Wealth Management is celebrating 25 years of serving clients and communities along Florida’s Gulf Coast and recently rebranded from its original name, The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company, which was established on Sanibel in 2001.

The following sponsor levels are available to join in supporting The Cause this year:
• Land Sponsor – Reserved Table for 8 – $10,000
• Water Sponsor – Reserved Half Table for 4 – $5,000
• Wildlife Sponsor – Reserved Seating for 2 – $1000
