Jessica Armstrong, 27, of Fort Myers Beach remains in Lee County Jail after her arrest Sunday, Oct. 17 on Sanibel. She has been charged with driving under the influence and two counts of possession. Police found less than 20 grams of marijuana and a controlled substance without a prescription in a search of her vehicle.
Armstrong is being held in the Lee County Jail without bond for failure to appear on an unrelated charge of driving with a suspended driver’s license. Bond on the three new charges has been set at $8,000.
