This year, proceeds from the annual Fourth of July Island Road Rally, organized by the non-profit group Friends of Randy of Sanibel, will benefit the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s Sanibel Sea School. These funds will directly contribute to our mission to improve the ocean’s future, one person at a time.
The Sanibel Island Road Rally is a Fourth of July island tradition. Following the parade, participants can join the 46th Annual Road Rally, a fun-filled island-wide scavenger hunt that challenges teams to explore Sanibel as they solve clues and answer questions along the way.
“We are very grateful that Friends of Randy selected us to benefit from the Road Rally this year,” said Sanibel Sea School Director Shannon Rivard. “Thanks to their generosity, more families will be able to enjoy our immersive program offerings and share our vision of a world where all people value, understand, and care for the ocean.”
Registration forms are available at Timbers & The Sanibel Grill, 703 Tarpon Bay Rd, Sanibel. Sign up, join the festivities, and support ocean love.
The entry fee is $50 per team. To register online, contact Randy Carson at 239-699-8739 or rcarsonsan@gmail.com or Allen Dunham at 239-699-9474 or cougar3_33@yahoo.com.
