The BIG ARTS Community Chorus directed by Ellen Whitten is a non-auditioned chorus open to singers of all ages and abilities. The only requirements are a love of singing and a commitment to attend weekly rehearsals.
Fall season begins Thursday, October 9, culminating in a holiday performance with the BIG ARTS Concert Band on Thursday, December 11 in BIG ARTS Christensen Performance Hall.
Rehearsals are every Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at BIG ARTS, 900 Dunlop Road. EXCEPTION: Thanksgiving week rehearsal is Tuesday, November 25. For more info, email Ellen Whitten at ellen.whitten@gmail.com. To register, call BIG ARTS box office at 239-395-0900.
The BIG ARTS Concert Band directed by Melissa Calkin is calling all instrumentalists to join our vibrant ensemble! We especially need flutes, and saxophones, but all band instruments are welcome.
Rehearsals run from 6:30-8:30 PM and are held at the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ.
