Last Call for SanCap Resilience Community Survey

provided to The Santiva Chronicle

Since its launch, over 700 people have completed the SanCap Resilience community survey. “We’d like even more,” said Bob Moore, Chair of the organization’s steering committee. “We’d ideally like to see over a thousand responses. The more people we hear from, the more confident we can be that the responses are truly representative of all parts of our community.”

The survey is intended for those who live (full-time or seasonally) and/or work on the islands. It should take about 10 minutes or less to complete. Those who need it can receive assistance completing the survey from the staff at F.I.S.H. of SanCap or the Sanibel Public Library. The survey can be accessed here.

By answering the questions in the survey, residents and employees on Sanibel and Captiva will help inform the future work of SanCap Resilience, which could include online resources, community educational events, solicitation of grant funding for resiliency projects, planning related to our community’s resilience, and more.

Individual responses to the survey will be anonymous, but the summary data will be made pubic for all interested.
