Members of the Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club joined fellow Rotarians, community leaders, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations from across Southwest Florida for Reignite Rotary, held Saturday, October 31, at The Commons in downtown Fort Myers.

Hosted by Rotary District 6960, the event celebrated the spirit of Rotary by bringing people together to connect, share ideas, and explore new opportunities for service. The gathering highlighted Rotary’s commitment to strengthening communities through leadership, fellowship, and meaningful partnerships.

Representing the Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club were Annie Campbell, Dolly Farrell, Rachel Tritaik, and Savannah Kelly, who joined fellow Rotarians and community members for a day of networking, learning, and collaboration.

Campbell, a past president of the Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club, currently serves as Rotary District 6960 Governor-Elect and will become District Governor for the 2027–2028 Rotary year. Her upcoming leadership role represents an exciting milestone for the local club and an opportunity to further strengthen connections among Rotary clubs throughout Southwest Florida.

Reignite Rotary offered attendees opportunities to engage with community organizations, discover service initiatives, and participate in educational sessions covering topics such as leadership, artificial intelligence, and public speaking. The event also introduced Rotary’s mission to individuals interested in becoming more involved in their communities.

For Sanibel-Captiva Rotarians, the gathering reinforced the importance of building relationships beyond individual clubs and working together to address community needs. Whether through local service projects, regional partnerships, or international initiatives, Rotary members share a commitment to creating positive, lasting change.

With Campbell preparing to take on district leadership, the Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club looks forward to continuing its tradition of service while strengthening its connections with fellow clubs across the region.
