The Rotary Club of Sanibel-Captiva was proud to present a check for an impressive $28,000 to Gary Dworkin and Jim Fabry, District 6960 Wheelchair Foundation Co-Chairs, for yet another container of wheelchairs to those in need across the Caribbean, Central, and South America.

At their 6th annual “Wheels for Wheels” fundraiser held on April 5th on Sanibel, the Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club raised an impressive $28,000. Over the past five years, their “Wheels for Wheels” initiative has raised over $140,000, resulting in the delivery of more than 1,400 wheelchairs.

The generosity of the Rotarians and the community that supports them is a small marker of what can be accomplished when we all work together.

The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary meets at the Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, and also on Zoom. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., and the meeting begins at 8:00 a.m. For more information about Rotary, please visit sanibelrotary.org. All are welcome!
