There was a minor three-vehicle crash reported Tuesday, Sept. 8, after a month of no vehicle accidents.
Luis Rivera, 53, Lehigh Acres, was merging onto Periwinkle Way from Causeway Boulevard at 8:58 a.m. when his vehicle struck the back of a stopped vehicle operated by John Ferguson, 26, Lehigh Acres. That caused Ferguson’s vehicle to strike the back of a vehicle operated by Jorge Rodrigues, 45, Fort Myers, who had stopped for traffic.
