After nearly a month of no vehicle accident reports, the Sanibel Police responded to a minor parking lot crash at 4:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 at the Lazy Flamingo restaurant, 1036 Periwinkle Way.
A vehicle operated by Christian Quijada-Landaverd of New Jersey was backing out of a parking space when it struck the rear passenger side of a vehicle operated by Meghann Records of Minnesota, who was traveling toward the exit of the parking lot. No injuries were reported.
