Sanibel police responded to a single minor vehicle crash last weekend.
Christopher Thomas, 53, Ravenna, Ohio, was traveling east on Periwinkle Way at 2:57 p.m. Sunday, July 23, when he stopped for traffic near Bailey Road and the back of his vehicle was struck by a vehicle operated by Marion Billheimer, 64, Sanibel. Billheimer was issued a verbal warning for careless driving.
