The City of Sanibel will repair a manhole in the westbound lane of Periwinkle Way, just west of Dixie Beach Boulevard, from 8 p.m. Sunday, March 8, to 7 a.m. Monday, March 9.
The city stated it will make every effort to minimize inconvenience to the public, but will limit vehicular traffic to one lane in this area. Crews will maintain access to residences and businesses at all times.
City officials remind the public to drive slowly and cautiously through the work areas when workers are present. The contractor will post signage and use flaggers to direct traffic.
