The Sanibel Police and Sanibel Fire & Rescue District responded to a two-vehicle accident around 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, at the intersection of Periwinkle Way and Palm Ridge Road. The westbound lane on Periwinkle Way is blocked, and motorists may encounter delays until the scene is cleared. No further information has been released.
