Sanibel City Council voted 4-1 Tuesday, March 3, to reverse Planning Commission’s approval for a dock at the home of Chris and Lisa Heidrick on Isabel Drive. The commission’s resolution was brought before council by appeal on behalf of numerous neighbors and the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation. Council found the Planning Commission did not clearly interpret and apply two of the seven standards in the variance criteria.
